Vehicles

There have been a number of questions around the parking rules in River Bend, whether for vehicles involved in construction or for residents. Here are the rules that apply:

From the Hunter’s Creek ordinances (http://cityofhunterscreek.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Complete-Code-thru-supp-14.pdf):

  • Sec. 40-69. Sufficient passageway required. It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a motor vehicle on any side of any street whether or not otherwise lawful when such act shall cause there to be less than 15 feet of passageway through the middle of the street for the uninterrupted flow of traffic through such street. (Code 2002, § 12.503)

  • Sec 10-3(i) Site parking. All vehicles, trailers, or mobile equipment associated with the construction site shall be parked on the site where possible. Otherwise, they shall be parked on the same side of the street as the construction site and in front of or as close to the site as possible. In no event shall any vehicle, trailer, or mobile equipment be parked on a street in such manner as to leave less than 15 feet of street clearance for other traffic.
